Hi Barbs, my timefor 8K was 52.40, much better than in training which was 54mins. I was having a really hard time and even my running parter knew I wasn't having a good run, but the time perked me up. I don't have a target time for the 10K, want to see how long it takes when I train. Resting for a few days due to old injuries rearing up! Doing it is the thing for me, and not stopping to walk!!

I also won a jacket and spoke to Michael when in the shop picking up my pack. He said there had been a bit of a problem with brooks but he was hoping to get the jackets this week and he took my phone number. Hi all

Just wanted to say I thoroughly enjoyed the 8k last week. Well organised and great fun.

I had a bad day at the Bangor Classic the week before with no water and inaccurate results etc and was thinking of hanging up my trainers!! However the runher event has restored my faith and will keep going until my old knees totally give up on me!!!!!!

Can I just ask if the other competition winners of the running jkt were able to get theirs?

I asked about it when I was in the shop ,as it said on the forum, but the nice young man didnt know what I was talking about!!

Anyway see y'all at next run

wot was your time at the runher 8k????

i picked up my forms at the shop today for the seeley cup and its 8 weeks away, so plenty of time to improve my last 10k time, hope to beat 67mins. if i didnt stop and help others around the route i would finish well under 60mins, so thats my target time for this race.

Cheers Bars, think we've already decided to go for it, I liked the route as it was so flat and nice to run a bit in the park too-reminded me a bit of my own training ground around Castlewellan lake.

No, you can only pay online via 'Atletics NI site ' or by sending in a form to the above address. As a last resort, you could enter on the day - but for £10. In these times of the credit crunch, enter now,lol.
